The LL Flooring Situation
LL Flooring (formerly Lumber Liquidators) filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2024 with $416M in debt. After closing hundreds of locations, the founder's private equity firm acquired 219 remaining stores and rebranded them back to Lumber Liquidators. That left enormous geographic gaps where millions of customers previously searched and found a store locator result — and now find nothing.
Our directory helps those shoppers find legitimate local alternatives: independent flooring liquidators, regional chains, and discount warehouses that have operated in these markets for years and are still open.
